
The Roman general Mark Antony, one of the three rulers of the known world, is consumed by his passion for Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt. Torn between duty to Rome and his intoxicating love affair in Alexandria, Antony's political power crumbles as his rival Octavius Caesar manoeuvres for sole control of the empire.
