Synopsis
The young Swanilda discovers that the mysterious beauty her fiancé Franz has been admiring from afar is actually a mechanical doll created by the eccentric toymaker Dr. Coppélius. She sneaks into his workshop, impersonates the doll, and plays tricks on the old man before rescuing Franz from Coppélius's scheme to steal his life force to animate the doll. The lovers reconcile and celebrate their wedding.
