Synopsis
A once-powerful financier whose empire has collapsed seeks refuge in his estranged son's Greenwich Village basement apartment, desperately trying to manipulate everyone around him into helping salvage what remains. Over one tense evening, the charismatic but morally bankrupt father attempts to use his son as a pawn in a last scheme. Rattigan's play dissects the toxic relationship between a narcissistic parent and the child who can never quite break free.
