Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella

Cinderella tells the timeless story of a young woman trapped in servitude by her cruel stepmother and stepsisters. Despite her circumstances, Cinderella maintains her grace, kindness, and hope. When the King announces a ball so the Prince may find a bride, Cinderella's stepfamily forbids her attendance. With the magical intervention of her Fairy Godmother, Cinderella is transformed into a vision of beauty and attends the ball, where she and the Prince fall in love at first sight. As midnight approaches and the spell begins to fade, Cinderella flees, leaving behind only a glass slipper. The Prince searches the kingdom to find the maiden whose foot fits the slipper, ultimately discovering Cinderella and claiming her as his bride.
