Synopsis
A wooden puppet carved by the lonely Geppetto is brought to life and longs to become a real boy. Pinocchio's adventures lead him astray, through a puppet theater, a land of toys, and the belly of a whale, as he learns through misadventure the meaning of honesty, courage, and selflessness. His love for Geppetto ultimately earns him the transformation into a real child.
