Shotgunned is an intimate two-hander that traces the arc of Roz and Dylan's relationship through a fragmented, non-linear narrative that mirrors how memory actually works. Beginning with Dylan returning to Roz's flat to collect his belongings after their breakup, the play leaps backward and forward through time, revealing the tender and humorous moments of their connection alongside its deepest fractures. The audience witnesses their awkward first meeting at a house party, the electricity of early romance, the decision to build a life together, and the devastating impact of an unexpected pregnancy loss. As their individual aspirations diverge and unprocessed grief takes its toll, the couple finds themselves unable to bridge the distance between them, even as love persists. Through sharp dialogue and raw vulnerability, the play examines how relationships can be simultaneously beautiful and broken, and how the people we lose continue to shape our identities long after they're gone.
