Synopsis
As Hollywood transitions from silent films to talkies, the dashing leading man Don Lockwood and his talentless co-star Lina Lamont face a crisis when audiences laugh at Lina's grating voice. Don falls for the aspiring actress Kathy Selden, and together with his wisecracking friend Cosmo, they hatch a plan to dub Kathy's voice over Lina's. The joyous result is a celebration of creativity, resilience, and the magic of movies.
