Synopsis
Prince Siegfried falls in love with Odette, a princess cursed by the sorcerer Rothbart to live as a swan by day and a woman only at night. At a royal ball, Rothbart's daughter Odile, disguised as Odette in black, tricks Siegfried into pledging his love to the wrong woman. Only a sacrifice of true love can break the spell, leading to a climactic confrontation at the lakeside.
