Synopsis
A Baroque pasticcio that merges Shakespeare's The Tempest and A Midsummer Night's Dream, set to music by Handel, Vivaldi, Rameau, and other composers. Prospero's island becomes the scene of magical mix-ups when Ariel accidentally shipwrecks the wrong group of lovers. Sorcerers, spirits, and enchanted mortals collide in a fantastical adventure that resolves with reconciliation and love.
