Synopsis
When nerdy Melvin Ferd the Third falls into a vat of toxic waste while investigating a corrupt mayor's illegal dumping, he is transformed into a hideously deformed creature of superhuman size and strength. As the Toxic Avenger, he fights to clean up his hometown of Tromaville, New Jersey, while pursuing a romance with a blind librarian. This gleefully irreverent rock musical celebrates B-movie camp and environmental justice.
