Synopsis
In 1922 New York, small-town girl Millie Dillmount arrives determined to marry her boss for money rather than love. She checks into a hotel run by Mrs. Meers, who is secretly kidnapping young women and selling them to the Far East. Through jazz-age hijinks, Millie foils the plot, discovers true love with the seemingly penniless Jimmy Smith, and learns that following your heart beats following the rules.
