Synopsis
King Leontes of Sicilia is consumed by irrational jealousy, convinced his pregnant wife Hermione has been unfaithful with his best friend Polixenes. His tyranny leads to the death of his young son, the apparent death of Hermione, and the abandonment of his newborn daughter Perdita. Sixteen years later, Perdita's return and a miraculous reunion with Hermione heal the wounds of Leontes' destructive rage.
