Meghan Umber Leaves the Hollywood Bowl for Aspen. Read the Room.

The Aspen Music Festival and School just hired away one of the LA Phil's most operationally powerful executives, and the move says something about where the serious institutional ambition is flowing right now. Meghan Martineau Umber, currently President of the Hollywood Bowl and Chief Programming Officer at the LA Phil, will become AMFS's Munroe President and CEO starting October 2026. She is succeeding Alan Fletcher, who has run the place for two decades.
