MAP Fund
MAP Fund is an organization that invests in artists as the critical foundation of a more equitable and vibrant society. From 1989 to 2024, MAP maintained a national grants program for artists creating radical, bold, and experimental performance work. The organization has retired its grantmaking program as of December 2024. MAP now focuses on Scaffolding for Practicing Artists (SPA), which provides artists with one-on-one coaching and peer artist gatherings to help them address their artistic and professional goals and challenges.
The MAP Fund grants program has been retired as of December 2024. SPA services are currently available to MAP alumni grantees and partner organizations including Jerome Foundation's Jerome Hill Fellows and Princess Grace Foundation's Artist Fellows.
