Des Moines Metro Opera
Des Moines Metro Opera is an American contemporary opera festival based in Indianola, Iowa, in the Des Moines metropolitan area. Its main summer repertory season is held at the Blank Performing Arts Center on the campus of Simpson College. The organization has become one of the country's most successful smaller companies doing adventurous repertory in a 467-seat space. The Apprentice Program provides training and performance opportunities for emerging opera singers.
