It promises to be a vibrant celebration of artistry and a memorable showcase of the next generation of outstanding performers. $20,000 in monetary prizes is offered, along with the performance awards. The Kosciuszko Foundation’s Wieniawski Violin Competition began in 1969, created to support gifted young violinists and to promote the music of Henryk Wieniawski, the celebrated 19th‑century violin virtuoso.
