Trained at the Paris Opéra's prestigious École d'Art lyrique under Michel Sénéchal, Ludovic Tézier rose to prominence following his 1998 Operalia prize and his 1999 Paris Opéra debut, establishing himself as one of Europe's leading dramatic baritones. Over two decades, he has commanded the great Verdi roles—*Rigoletto*, *Macbeth*, *Simon Boccanegra*, *Don Carlo*—across the Vienna State Opera, Berlin State Opera, Liceu Barcelona, and the world's most distinguished opera houses, earning the Victoires de la musique classique's French Lyric Artist of the Year award in 2006 and the Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2011.
