Beginning his professional career in the national tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie circa 2005–2006, Paul Adam Schaefer ascended to Broadway in 2007 as a member of The Phantom of the Opera's cast at the Majestic Theatre, where he would remain for over sixteen years, performing as Raoul and the Phantom across more than 5,000 performances.
