Booth Theatre

Main entrance on West 45th Street. The Booth's marquee is modest but unmistakable; you are steps from Shubert Alley, which runs between the Booth and the Shubert Theatre to the north.

The Booth's bar is modest; arrive early if you want a drink. The lobby can feel tight during intermission. If the show has no intermission (many contemporary plays don't), the lobby remains calm. The house is small enough that you'll recognize faces from your section.

Public Transit

The Booth is exceptionally well-served by transit. Times Square–42nd Street station (1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, W trains) is one block south; 42nd Street–Port Authority (A, C, E trains) is one block west. The M42 crosstown bus stops at 45th and Eighth. From Times Square station, take the north exit and walk north on Broadway or Eighth Avenue; from Port Authority, walk east on 45th. Ride-share drop-off: 45th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue.

Parking

Street parking in the Theater District is scarce and meter-limited. Nearest garages: Shubert Theatre garage (shared building access), or the Port Authority garage at 625 Eighth Avenue (approximately 2 blocks south, $20–$35 depending on duration). Ride-share drop-off on 45th Street; expect congestion during pre-show hours.
