Florida Grand Opera is one of the oldest performing arts organizations in the state of Florida, tracing its roots to 1941 when it was founded as the Greater Miami Opera Association. The company performs at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, a stunning waterfront complex designed by Cesar Pelli, and presents a season of grand repertoire reflecting the rich cultural diversity of South Florida. FGO has long been a gateway for Latin American artists to the North American opera world.
