John Golden Theatre

Main entrance at 252 West 45th Street (between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). The theater's Spanish Colonial Revival facade is immediately recognizable; arrive via the Times Square side of the block for the most direct approach.

The theater's compact size means the lobby fills quickly during intermission. The bar is efficient but crowded; consider using the restroom during the first half if possible. Aisle seats (particularly recommended for taller patrons) offer easier access for mid-show movement without disturbing neighbors.

Public Transit

Exceptional transit access. 42nd Street-Port Authority station (A, C, E trains) is one block south; 42nd Street station (1, 2, 3 trains) is one block east; Times Square-42nd Street station (N, Q, R, W trains) is two blocks south. The M42 crosstown bus stops nearby. Exit at any of these stations and walk north or east to 45th Street.

Parking

Street parking in the Theater District is notoriously scarce. Nearest commercial lots: the Port Authority Parking Garage (42nd Street at Ninth Avenue, approximately 3-minute walk) and various smaller garages throughout Midtown. Expect $15–$25 for evening parking. Ride-share drop-off available on 45th Street.
