Entrance
Main entrance on West 48th Street. The theater's French neoclassical facade is immediately recognizable; arrive from the south side of the block for the most direct approach.
Intermission
The Longacre's intimate size means the lobby can become crowded during intermission. The bar area moves quickly; order during the first five minutes of intermission if you want to avoid the crush. The theater's modest footprint means restroom queues are predictable—plan accordingly.
Accessibility
The Longacre has 2 wheelchair spaces available. Accessible entrance and facilities are available; contact the Shubert Organization box office for specific accommodation requests and seating options.
Transit, parking & directions
Public Transit
42nd Street–Port Authority Bus Terminal (A, C, E lines) is a 5-minute walk south. Times Square–42nd Street station (1, 2, 3, N, Q, R, W lines) is also accessible within 5 minutes. Exit onto 42nd Street and walk north to 48th.
Parking
Street parking in the Theater District is notoriously difficult. The nearest commercial parking is the Shubert Theatre Garage (adjacent to the Shubert Theatre, a short walk south). Ride-share drop-off on West 48th Street; expect congestion during evening curtain times.
