Manhattan Theatre Club

The Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (primary venue) is located at 305 W 43rd St in the Theater District. Main entrance faces 43rd Street; the building is directly accessible from the street. For the NYC Center venue (Upper West Side), enter via the main Columbus Circle entrance on 55th Street.

MTC venues have full bars. At the Friedman Theatre, the lobby bar can become crowded during intermission; arrive early or use the time to step outside onto 43rd Street for air. At NYC Center, the venue's larger footprint allows for easier circulation.

Public Transit

Samuel J. Friedman Theatre: 46th Street station (A, C, E trains) is one block south; 42nd Street–Port Authority (A, C, E trains) is two blocks south. M42 crosstown bus stops nearby. NYC Center venue: 55th Street station (A, C, E trains) is one block south; Columbus Circle (A, B, C, D, 1 trains) is two blocks west. M10 and M11 buses serve both locations. Ride-share drop-off: 43rd Street (Friedman) or 55th Street (NYC Center).

Parking

Street parking in Midtown is severely limited. Nearby parking garages include the Port Authority garage (42nd St–Port Authority station area) and various commercial lots throughout the Theater District; expect $15–25 for evening performances. MTC recommends public transit or ride-share services as the primary arrival method.
