One of America's oldest and most prestigious independent music schools, the New England Conservatory occupies a storied campus in Boston's Fenway neighborhood. Its centerpiece, Jordan Hall, is a National Historic Landmark celebrated for acoustics that rank among the finest of any small concert halls in the world. NEC's faculty of distinguished performers and scholars trains students across classical, jazz, and contemporary improvisation, producing graduates who populate the ranks of leading orchestras, opera companies, and ensembles worldwide. The conservatory's public concert series offers hundreds of free performances each year.

No cover — ever. The music starts around 9 PM and runs until close. Berklee students, NEC jazz faculty, and working professionals share the same small stage. Arrive early for a seat.
