Main entrance on Lincoln Center Plaza (66th Street side). The plaza itself is the ceremonial approach—arrive early to experience the iconic fountain and the Chagall murals glowing inside the Metropolitan Opera House. For those arriving by subway, exit at 66th Street-Lincoln Center (1 train) and follow the pedestrian flow north into the plaza. The David H. Koch Theater entrance is clearly marked on the plaza's east side.

The David H. Koch Theater's lobby can become crowded during intermission. The main bar is on the ground floor; arrive early in the interval or use the mezzanine-level bar if you prefer a quieter experience. Restrooms are well-distributed but expect lines. The lobby's architectural sightlines are excellent—many patrons use the interval to admire the space itself. Water and light refreshments are available; alcohol service is standard.

Public Transit

66th Street-Lincoln Center station (1 train, Red Line) is the primary access point—exit at street level and walk north into the plaza (2-minute walk). M66 crosstown bus stops nearby. The station is well-signed and accessible. Ride-share drop-off on Amsterdam Avenue side of the plaza.

Parking

Lincoln Center has limited on-site parking (expensive, often full). Nearest public garages: Impark at 65 West 65th Street (3-minute walk, ~$20–28 for evening); Midtown West Garage at 333 West 65th Street (5-minute walk). Street parking on the Upper West Side is metered and competitive. Ride-share drop-off is on the plaza's west side (Amsterdam Avenue); expect congestion before and after performances.
