Tips from the regulars
Entrance
The main entrance faces West 43rd Street. The theater's modern reconstruction places the lobby at street level, making arrival straightforward from the Times Square-42nd Street subway complex.
Intermission
The venue's modern design includes a contemporary bar and lobby. Expect crowding during intermission on busy nights; the bar can move slowly. The lobby itself is spacious enough to accommodate the 1,055-seat capacity without severe congestion.
Accessibility
The venue is wheelchair accessible. The 2009 reconstruction prioritized accessibility; the theater is the first LEED-certified theater on Broadway. Contact Roundabout's audience services at +1 212-719-1300 or audienceservices@roundabouttheatre.org for specific accessibility accommodations, seating, or services.
Transit, parking & directions
Public Transit
Exceptional transit access. The 42nd Street-Port Authority station (A, C, E trains) is one block south; 42nd Street station (1, 2, 3 trains) is one block east; Times Square-42nd Street (N, Q, R, W trains) is two blocks south. The M42 crosstown bus stops nearby. From any of these stations, the theater is a 2–4 minute walk.
Parking
Street parking in Midtown is scarce and metered. The Theater District has several commercial parking garages within two blocks; expect $20–$35 for evening performances. Ride-share drop-off is available on 43rd Street.
