The Walter Kerr Theatre, named for the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama critic, is a jewel box house on West 48th Street that became a global sensation as the home of Hadestown. Originally built in 1921 as the Ritz Theatre, it was converted to broadcast studios before returning to legitimate use in 1983.
