Walter Kerr Theatre

The main entrance faces West 48th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue. First-time visitors should approach from the Eighth Avenue side for clearest sightlines to the marquee.

The lobby is compact—arrive early to avoid crowding at the bar during intermission. The house bar serves wine, beer, and spirits. Restroom queues can be substantial; use facilities before the show begins if possible.

Public Transit

The 42nd Street–Port Authority Bus Terminal subway station (A, C, E lines) is the nearest major transit hub, approximately 3 blocks south. The N, R, W lines stop at 42nd Street–Times Square, also about 3 blocks away. Exit onto 42nd Street and walk north on Broadway or Eighth Avenue.

Parking

Street parking in the Theater District is notoriously difficult. The nearest commercial garage is the Port Authority Parking Garage (42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues), approximately a 5-minute walk. Expect $15–$25 for evening parking. Ride-share drop-off is on West 48th Street itself.
