Synopsis
On 14 June 2017, a fire broke out in Grenfell Tower, a 24-storey residential block in North Kensington, claiming 72 lives. Gillian Slovo's verbatim play, drawn from years of interviews with survivors and the bereaved, recounts the events leading up to the tragedy, the harrowing night of the fire itself, and the ongoing fight for accountability. Interwoven with excerpts from the Grenfell Tower Inquiry transcripts, the play gives voice to a community still demanding answers.
