Synopsis
In the bustling market halls of Les Halles in 1860s Paris, the spirited market girl Ciboulette is told by a fortune-teller that she will find true love. After a series of comic romantic misadventures involving mistaken identities and rival suitors, Ciboulette discovers that her destined lover has been right beside her all along. Reynaldo Hahn's charming operetta is a love letter to Old Paris and its colorful market life.
