Synopsis
Based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, the brave girl Gerda embarks on an epic journey to rescue her friend Kay, who has been abducted by the Snow Queen after a shard of an enchanted mirror lodges in his heart, turning him cold and cruel. Gerda travels through mysterious lands, encountering a princess, a robber girl, and a Lapp woman, before finally reaching the Snow Queen's ice palace. Her tears of love melt the shard from Kay's heart, and they return home together.
