Synopsis
The Moorish general Othello and his wife Desdemona are deeply in love, but the envious Iago manipulates Othello into believing Desdemona has been unfaithful. Consumed by jealousy, Othello confronts and kills Desdemona, only to discover Iago's treachery too late. This three-act dance drama translates Shakespeare's tragedy into the physical language of ballet.
