The Sleeping Beauty unfolds as a fairy tale of enchantment and redemption. Princess Aurora is born into a kingdom celebrating her christening when the evil fairy Carabosse curses the child to prick her finger on a spindle and fall into eternal sleep. The good fairy Lilac Fairy mitigates the curse, declaring that true love's kiss will awaken Aurora. Years pass, and on her sixteenth birthday, Aurora encounters Prince Désiré and falls in love. Yet Carabosse's curse takes hold when Aurora pricks her finger on a magical spindle, plunging her into slumber. The prince journeys through an enchanted forest, guided by the Lilac Fairy, to reach the sleeping princess. His kiss breaks the spell, awakening Aurora and vanquishing the dark forces. The ballet concludes with a grand wedding celebration, uniting the lovers and restoring harmony to the kingdom.
