Synopsis
The knight Adolar wagers his lands on the virtue of his beloved Euryanthe, but the scheming Eglantine and the villainous Lysiart conspire to make it appear she has been unfaithful. Armed with a stolen secret about Euryanthe's family, they convince Adolar of her guilt, and he abandons her in a wilderness. The truth is eventually revealed, the villains are punished, and the faithful lovers are reunited.
